Itinerary

STOP 1

Explore two haunted sights that have a bloody past and unique Canadian history. The drive to your second stop is 11 minutes.

STOP 2

You may want a coffee to calm your nerves before heading to your next stop, an abandoned destination with an eerie story. The drive to your third stop is 12 minutes.

STOP 3

Time to check "Eat in a Haunted Restaurant" off your bucket list! Please note all the options on this stop are restaurants, which are at the travellers expense. The drive time to your fourth stop is 10 minutes.

STOP 4

The only decision you have to make is do you want to meet the ghost of a heartbroken lover or head out on a less-spooky hike. We've recommended a scenic drive before you head home.

Great Trip

We just did this trio last weekend and had a great time. We enjoyed reading about the spooky history of the locations. We were a bit disappointed about the 2nd stop being a drive by visit but otherwise we had a great day.

Thank you so much for your review and feedback! We're so glad you had a great day out exploring :)

Spooky past

There was a lot of interesting tales. The first stop didn't open till noon if you wanted to walk through the buildings.

Thank you for your review, we're so glad you had a fun day out! While the interior tours of the first stop are super cool, we do only recommend this as a 'grounds only' stop as tours of the inside would take 2-3 hours.

Second stop is now private - century manor

Main asylum building was completely gated/fenced off around. Would recommended updating the guess where trip guide for this area to clarify that it’s just the building to see

Thank you for your review, we're so glad you had a fun day out! Yes, as the building on stop #2 has been privately sold, we now recommend this only as a quick photo op and to read the haunted stories. It's too bad becuase it is such a beautiful building!

A little lost at times

We really liked the stories that were in each envelope, the historic stories on the places, how accurate timing and drive time was.
However we often found ourselves lost in that we would arrive and not totally sure what we were looking for . The riddle or scavenger hunt was difficult to figure out how to decode..
we never heard any noises but I do think you have to buy into in to it to be able to really be spooked.

Thank you for your review! Our 'haunted' trips definitely require more reading and imagination than our other road trips - we don't promise any ghost sightings but hope the stories along the way make it more fun :)
